Quality Management

Quality Philosophy: High-quality, consistent products

二、Quality—Rooted in Quality Management in R&D

Excellent physical and chemical properties: The quality management system is fully integrated throughout the R&D phase to ensure that raw materials and formulations meet the required performance standards:

1.Exceptional Durability: All our products are fired at extremely high temperatures over extended periods, resulting in a level of vitrification that is unmatched in the industry. Thanks to their dense structure and extremely low water absorption, these tiles offer superior stain resistance and durability. They resist wear and fading, maintaining a fresh, new appearance over time.

2. Excellent Frost Resistance: Due to the product’s low water absorption and high vitrification, it offers excellent resistance to frost damage—a factor that is particularly important to consider under harsh winter conditions, such as frost in northern regions. During the R&D phase, to quickly and accurately verify this performance metric, we analyzed the microstructure of the glaze surface using a high-power microscope and conducted ink penetration tests on the glaze layer.

3. Low Radioactivity: During the R&D phase, compliance with mandatory radioactivity limits for ceramic tiles is a mandatory requirement. Our products have radioactivity levels far below the national standard limits, meaning there are no restrictions on their use.

2、Strict color difference control:

1) Management of “Standard Colors” and “Color Deviation Limits”: Managing standard colors and color deviation limits ensures that, even after years of production, color deviations remain within a specified range, preventing color shifts or inconsistencies, and ensures that products from different batches can be mixed and used interchangeably.

2) “Quantitative Management” of Color Deviation Control: Ceramic products have unique characteristics, and the use of color deviation detection instruments can result in significant errors. Visual inspection, on the other hand, varies from person to person, often leading to substantial discrepancies in results. Based on extensive production experience and on-site performance data, our company has implemented a quantitative management model based on numerical criteria and conducts regular audits and calibrations to ensure consistency in color assessment.

3) “Standardization of the color matching process” and “on-site simulation”:

---“Standardization” refers to the process by which products must pass three stages of color matching—“point-to-point, line-to-line, and surface-to-surface”—as specified by the standard. This ensures both the visual quality at close range and the overall appearance of the exterior facade when the tiles are installed over large wall surfaces.

---“On-site simulation” refers to the process of rigorously testing product color matching under various complex real-world conditions to ensure that the product meets the required color tolerance limits and achieves the desired effect, regardless of whether the environment is well-lit or dim, or whether there are differences in light reflection between indoor and outdoor settings.

3、Process Capability Index Control System (Cp and Cpk Control):

Process capability refers to the ability of a manufacturing process to meet the technical requirements of a product; its level objectively reflects the product’s quality.

 1) In the traditional tile manufacturing industry, our company is one of the few manufacturers that uses a process capability index evaluation system and corresponding computer software to monitor production. Real-time production data is fed back to the production control system, ensuring production stability.

2)Through years of production experience, our manufacturing process consistently achieves Cp and Cpk values of 1.33 or higher, with excellent performance metrics and consistently high-quality, uniform products.

4、Consistent product performance

Nearly every batch of tiles achieves an extremely low and consistent water absorption rate, along with superior physical and chemical properties such as a smooth glazed surface. The products are easy to clean and exhibit significantly improved stain resistance.

5、Comprehensive quality control standards for ceramic tiles:

 1) Adhesion of the backing paper: To prevent tiles currently being installed from accidentally peeling off the backing paper, an adhesion test must be conducted to ensure the smooth progress of the installation work and the reliability of the bond.

 2) Release properties of the backing paper: After the backing paper has been moistened and left for 2–3 minutes, it should peel off the tile smoothly without leaving any paper residue on the tile surface. Controlling this parameter maximizes both construction efficiency and quality, and significantly reduces the difficulty of cleaning the wall surface later on.

 3) Adhesive Residue Test: A unique test designed to measure the amount of adhesive residue left on the tile surface after the paper backing is removed. This standardized testing method determines the difficulty of cleaning the tile surface after installation. The less adhesive residue there is, the easier it is to clean the grout lines on the tile surface.
