Testing methods of product performance are as follows:
Water absorption
- Pick up 6 pieces of specimen with age of 7 days at random. Cut two sides off, put them into oven with temperature of 110⊥㊣5⊥ for 24 hours, then let them cool to room temperature;
- Take the specimen out from oven quickly and record the weight as &M0*;
- Dip the specimen into water for 48 hours;
- Take them out and wipe them with wet towel which is tweaked dry and record the weight as &M1*;
- Water absorption is: (M1-M2)/M0℅100%
Flexural strength
- There are two flexural strength tests, one is specimen with age of 3 days, another is specimen with age of 28 days;
- Put the specimen on the two supporting column, press the specimen through the supporting column with speed of 50N/S㊣10N/S evenly till the specimen breaks;
- Read the test result from the machine, unit of measure is Mpa.

Compressive strength
- Use the 6 pieces of specimen that have broken in the flexural strength test to start the compressive strength test immediately;
- The test carries out at the side face of the specimen;
- The warp is limited within 0.5mm between center of the broken piece and center of the plate of the test machine;
- Press the specimen with speed of 2400N/S㊣20N/S evenly till it is destroyed.
- Compressive strength (Rc) is:
Rc=Fc/A?(u/m: MPa)
Fc: Maximal load, u/m: N;
A: Compression area, mm2

Dry volume weight
- Take 2 pieces of specimen into drying oven with temperature of 110⊥㊣5⊥ for 24 hours, then cool them to room temperature and weight it (G);
- Dip them into water for more than 30 minutes;
- Put some water into a water container and put the water container onto the electronic scale, reset the electronic scale to zero;
- Take the specimen out from water, wipe it with wet towel which is tweaked dry, hang it into the water container with a string, read the scale (G1);
- Dry volume weight is: 老=G/G1

Stain-proof
- Use high-class carbon ink to test the product;
- Drop 3 or 4 dots of ink onto the surfaces of the specimen, and clean it after 2 minutes;
- Air-dry the products for 2.5 hours till it is dry enough, repeat the operation of b;
- Judge the performance according to relative ICOT documents.
Freeze resistance
Consult Japan JIS1435-1991 standard.
- Several days before test, cut the product into 100℅100ㄗmmㄘpieces;
- Dip it into water with 10~20⊥ for 48 hours;
- Put the pieces erectly on the plate in the testing machine with -20⊥ for 2 hours, then thaw it in the water with 15~20⊥ for 1 hour;
- Repeat the operation, and judge the performance according to relative ICOT documents.
